About

The Club

A proper Yorkshire golf club — no airs, no graces, and a welcome with its sleeves rolled up.

We take our golf seriously and ourselves not at all.

Ironside was built by members who wanted a proper golf club without the fuss: moorland turf, big weather, honest prices, and a welcome that doesn't care what's on your scorecard. Come for the course — a real test when the wind's up — and stay for the pies, the pints and the patter.

The clubhouse

A solid old stone clubhouse on the edge of the moor — award-winning steak pie, hand-pulled ale, and a fire going whatever the month. Open to all, golfer or not, and loud in all the right ways.

Come and have a go
